Hi Everybody! I have a you a copy of the Digital Connectors application. We still have 8 slots available for any youth between the ages of 14-21 interested in learning technology. Recruitment has been slow this year and we cannot do this without your help. We have the applications in English and Spanish. Classes meet every Monday and Wednesday from 4-6pm here at El Centro de la Raza and they just started this past Monday. Please help us spread the word. A few incentives you can tell the youth as a perk for their commitment: *Brand new Laptop Computer awarded upon completion of 10-month internship! *Free gear provided through Comcast/NBC Universal throughout the year (backpacks, flash drives, t-shirts, much more!) *Earn over 150 Service Learning Hours for school *Certificate of Completion signed by the CEO of Comcast (Looks great on students resume and scholarship applications!) (Past students have attributed them being awarded scholarships due to them completing the internship!) Students or parents can give Cristina or myself a call/email if they have any questions.
