Hi Everyone - There seems to be some confusion about our group charity project. This was an idea that a few of us had to use the Bal Kaymak group in order to raise money for worthy organizations in Istanbul. Many businesses and sports clubs (including our special friends, Adim Adim) have similar projects. To be clear - 1) You do not need to be participating in the Antalya marathon in order to join this project; 2) If you want to help out, just send the information about the organizations and where to donate to your friends and family. (We have uploaded an instructions sheet in the Files section of the FB group that has all of the details.) You DO NOT need to collect any money. You/they will donate directly to whichever organization that you choose. 3) Please be sure to indicate Bal Kaymak Runners & Walkers on your check or money transfer so that we can keep track of how much money was raised by group members and friends. 4) If you want to supprt this charity project, please copy the information about the charities on your FB status update, as Zuhtu, Serkan and I did. This will help to spread the word.
