Hi Everyone - finally got to an internet cafe as we have been to some very remote places. Picked up camper in Lille then thru southern Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Istra (Croatia). Mark got to fly his paraglider at 3 sites so far and guess what I finally did it hehe.. Went for a tandem with Sasha (Marks friend) in Motovun yesterday flying above an ancient fortress castle so I can cross that off my bucket list. It is beautiful here in Istra away from the crazy Italian drivers. Have had some white knuckle drives thru Swiss Alps and Dolomites to 4500ft on extremely narrow roads on cliff edges. Loving the fresh produce - picking fresh figs, berries & grapes off side of road. Buying beautiful cheese, bread & fruit from little markets. Tried home-made pasta & gnocchi with fresh white truffles last night..yum Mark loving the beer and sooo cheap ($1.50/500ml stubby). Today at Rovinj - little fishing town on Adriatic coast. Tomorrow may go to mainland Croatia to lake system where Avatar was filmed (supposed to be stunning). Having a great holiday will post again soon..Cheers Lynne & Mark xx
