Hi Everyone, Due to Caras escapades we were still wrapping Christmas presents at 10am this morning but still a fantastic time for us - We have had several requests for more info on how she was found, so here goes - Since she went missing we have had between 30 and 40 possible sightings of a dog matching her description in multiple locations and whilst they may not have all been her it enabled us to build a pattern of what we believed to be her Track - Five of these sightings were last Saturday in about a 1 mile area of Murton all within a 3 hour window. There were a further 2 sightings on Monday, one being from a couple who thought they had seen Cara in their garden though she was spooked and ran off. We felt this indicated that she was getting hungry and therefore braver in her efforts to find food and asked them to bait their garden in an attempt to keep her in one area. They made a terrific effort and in the first night baited on 3 different occasions and all were taken over a 3 hour period. They very kindly repeated their efforts on Tuesday also rigging a cord that would cause an external door to close thus trapping Cara in a safe area. Two baits were taken by 8pm and on the 3rd occasion the trap activated - outcome:- Cara on her way home - Interestingly various indictors appear to show that she may have been in this location for about a week but it would take too long to explain why but our gratitude goes out to you all and we pray that you enjoy the rest of the festive season - More posts to follow soon
