Hi Everyone! I am new to the Warren Township Community Forum and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am currently the Assistant Director at the KinderCare in Warren. I know that a few of our parents are part of this forum and they thought it would be a good idea to join to stay connected with the community. We recently just received our NAEYC accrediation and did you know that we are the only childcare center in Warren to currently have their NAEYC accrediation? It is very exciting for us. Also, I just found out that today our CEO Dr. Elanna Yalow participated in an all day workshop at the White House aimed at finding strategies to bridge the early language gap and to discuss the importance of early literacy development. By the time they are three years old, a child from an upper class family has heard 30 million more words than a child from a lower income family. Early literacy and language development are hugely importnat and we help impact this everyday! I think its pretty amazing that someone with in my company is such an advocate for early childhood education. I am so excited to be a part of this forum and hope to gain some knowledge about the Warren Community as well as pass some along!
