Hi Everyone! I would like to welcome myself to this group, and my sweet boy Draven. He was diagnosed with Cushings disease last week at the age of almost 9. I have been doing all of the research I can, and I think it is wonderful that there is a group that I can turn to for advice, support etc. Draven has shown no signs of this disease affecting him, however in the past 2 nights he has started coughing something fierce (sounds like a goose honking), to the point that he is bringing up fluids. I researched Tracheal collapse and took him to the vet first thing in the AM. They advised me that it is not in fact that, but may just be something that his immune system cant process once like it would have. We are on a course of antibiotics right now. Has anyone ever had a dog do this? Thank you so much for adding us!
