Hi Everyone! Ill probably get a grumble chat for this, but what the heck. I had a good chat to long-time Mazda stalwart, Trevor Zacho-Kristensen, last night about joining Facebook specifically so that he can follow, and no doubt make a solid contribution as well, to this amazing group. Trevor is a proud owner of one of our Hyper Stimulator race car simulators, and he spends much time turning laps in circuit racing cars, but naturally his first love is Richard Burns Rally - he is quite possibly the most experienced rally driver in Australasia, or may even globally, on that amazing rally software platform. Trevor says that hurling a WRC car around on his Hyper Stimulator is just incredible. He is no slug either in our V8 Supercar Social League, which raced at Queensland Raceway last night, and was the cause of our conversation with regard to this group. Down-to-earth, and incredibly unassuming, here is the most recent photo that I could find of Trevor after he received a Scalextric slot car set as part of a race league competition that we ran last year in conjunction with Toymod NZ. Trevor was so gracious in victory that he insisted that we give the prize to someone else as he had already won the Scalextric Rally set that Gavin Dawson of Toymod put up as a prize for the winner of our Rally League a couple of years back. Rest assured, in the Rally League, no one came close to Trevor, except for a few appearances by Robert Van Gisbergen. The other Scalextric set and a couple of the trophies in the line-up shot were won by Trevors nephew, Craig Priest, who some of you might also be familiar with.
