Hi Everyone, Im excited to announce a new church plant we have been working on, and will spin off from CLC here in Palm Coast: Beachside Community Church, an LCMC mission plant, will begin worship in January. We will take some of the principles weve learned at our contemporary worship service, our Wednesday night service and our monthly sunrise service and roll them into this new community oriented church. I will be leading the plant and I ask for a couple things: first, your prayers. Second we will be looking for support churches, as well as individuals, who might be interested in providing financial support for the first year or two of our life as a congregation. Our website is in progress and has a placeholder image there, but the url is: beach.church The .church url is a new thing, and some of our core team members have had trouble because their browsers dont yet recognize it, so if you have trouble accessing the website, its because .church is so new. The church name is derived from John 21:4-6, New Living Translation, which says: 4 At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was. 5 He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?” “No,” they replied. 6 Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. We are sending out a good sized core group from here at CLC, so any outside support we can get will be a huge blessing and great help. Keep us in your prayers over the coming months!
