Hi Everyone, It just passed us. The National Day Of Prayer. This year dedicated to those who are persecuted for their faith in Christ. And dont think that is just a few people. Hundreds of thousands are imprisoned, many of whom are being tortured. Thousand and thousands each year die for their faith. Over forty countries have laws in place that encourage persecution of Christians. Over twenty countries have laws in place to protect religious freedom, but Christians are persecuted nonetheless. Of course all this is exactly according to Gods plan. So in spite of the pain, the suffering, we should rejoice. But how do we push through such horror, if we would be the subject of persecution. Well, first of all, He suffered and died for us, and He asked us to do likewise if that would come about. Secondly, consider that it is worth it. The blessings, as well as the evil that we experience today are just a mere glimpse of what awaits for eternity. All the good multiplied many times over, without interference from evil, for eternity. Or all the evil, multiplied many times over, without interference from God, for eternity. The choice is yours! So please pray that those who are and those who will be persecuted, will stand strong in their faith, and persevere until the end.
