Hi Everyone! Jasper continues to be doing great. Today has seen - TopicsExpress

Hi Everyone! Jasper continues to be doing great. Today has seen a return to normality sadly for me with having to return to work and Jasper spending the day with my parents, as has always been the case through the week whilst Im at work. Through the day he was fine and had his usual cup of tea and dinnertime walk. Tonight hes spent the evening under my desk by my feet as Ive been attempting to deal with the overwhelming correspondence which Ive been receiving through the day. This brings me on to another subject... Today was one of the toughest days Ive had since loosing Jasper. Managing the sheer amount of media correspondence and communication whilst attempting to commit myself fully to my full time work is evidently too much. So much so Ill possibly be looking to appoint a media/press agent this week. Therefore, with a heavy heart, Ive decided that this will be my last post to the group. It saddens me to do so as this group has and will always be a source of strength for me. Some of the kind comments Ive read have pulled out of some very, very dark places over the last week or so and give the drive and determination to keep going in the face of adversity. This group belongs to each and every member, all of whom were responsible for this miraculous outcome and for that Im eternally grateful to all 6,523 of you. The direction of the group seems to be changing and this is a good thing. With the wonderful people involved here, I know one thing for sure, that this area can provide a platform for a vast range of great possibilities. Id love to share the future adventures of myself and Jasper with you and keep you updated on his recovery. We have some exciting adventures/trips planned and would love you to come along with us even if it is just virtually. Ive set up a Twitter account, from which Ill tweet all our capers and probably a few of me returning back to normality racing my bike (which always bores everyone). Its just as well were moving to Twitter too, as Im sure all of my friends are sick and tired of updates about Nolan and that bloody dog! So it goes without saying... THANK YOU ALL for one of the best weeks of my life, it could have been a very different story, but with the effort of some remarkable individuals fortunately this was not the case. All the best everyone! Adam and Jasper Follow me on Twitter: @_alabamaslammer and yes you guessed it, well be using #sunsouttoungesout which feels a little wrong looking at the long term forecast for the Cumbrian fells! P.S. I though Id leave you with this (he hasnt always been so angelic)...
