Hi Everyone, Just to say that internet communication from here came to a standstill for a while, but is now back on again. Actually so did the electricity and hence our water supply which has to be pumped up (using electricity) from source. Reason - a very nasty storm - untimely in March - which blew a few roofs off in the village and one roof cut straight through the power line. Listen to this.... the Electricity Board came to repair it at 8.30 am today, but did not bring a set of ladders :( so after a couple hours they managed to borrow some from the World Peace Pagoda. They eventually set to work and got the line mended, but somehow someone dropped a nut (as in nut and bolt) when putting things back together again. They couldnt find it and didnt have a spare, so had to drive back into town to get another.... one cannot help but wonder why they came so ill-equipped ;) Anyway, were slowly getting back to normal again. Oh the joys of living in Nepal...
