Hi Everyone! Just wanted to get the word out there .... the Resource Center is now part of the Kings Receipt Program. This is a great way for us to raise money to help those less fortunate in our community. The majority of our money is through grants and has strict guidelines how we use it. These grants are wonderful and have helped a large number of those in need, but often, we have to turn people away because they dont fit the criteria. The Kings Receipt Program gives us 1% of the total of the receipts we turn in on a quarterly basis. 1% doesnt sound like much ... and it truly isnt UNLESS we all work together towards a common goal. We are asking everyone to please help us in our quest to better serve those less fortunate. Those who have fallen on our times and just need a little help getting back up. We are always careful to screen those we help and can assure you that any money raised will go to a good cause, on a case by case basis. You can always drop off the receipts at our office at 476 Market Street (across from Market Place, next to the Food Bank) or mail them to us at PO Box 1981.
