Hi Everyone! Just wanted to share some photos from the 229 Flight Gliding Course that was held at Warwick last week (Warwick is about 180 kilometres south-west of Brisbane). I am very fortunate to have been awarded an Air Force Flying Scholarship, and so Ive been using the funds to learn to fly gliders with No. 229 Flight. The Flight has, in its fleet, three Puchateks, 2 brand new DG1000Ss, an (unloved!) M-200, a KA-6 (the prettiest aeroplane in the world) and a Piper Pawnee tug. By the end of the year, all the Puchateks will be gone, as will the M-200. The Flight will have two DG100Ss and three IS-28s (I think). Last Saturday we were grounded by fog for over three hours. The temperature was around 2 degrees Celsius! Anyways, enjoy the photos!
