Hi Everyone, My name is Salina Camacho. I am 13 years old and I have Fetal Valproate Syndrome. A few weeks ago I competed in Wyomings Our Little Miss Pageant and I won title of State Mini Queen. YAY! I now qualify to go compete in the Worlds Universal Beauty Pageant in San Marcus, TX January 16-20th 2013 and I need you support to get there. I designed this Bully Free Zone T-shirts because it is a cause I have a passion for and I would like to spread awareness about it. tinyurl/BullyFreeZoneTshirt You see I myself, a child of God with Special Needs and having Fetal Valproate Syndrome has been bullied on more than one occasion and I know first hand what it feels like to get bullied. I want to try and help everyone understand the terrible toll bullying can take on its victims, and to encourage others to stand up for their friends that are being harassed. Bulling doesnt just happen to kids my age, my own mother has been bullied by someone who didnt understand my special needs. Bullying doesnt just consist of verbal abuse its also emotional and physical. Its my mission to spread the word that when you bulling someone no matter how, you are slowing killing that person inside and eventually that person may end up physical hurting themselves or even worse committing suicide. Mama always tells me to remember sticks and stones might break my bones but not to let others mean words get to me, that is something I think everyone should live by, it helps me when Im feeling down because of something someone has said to me. I find it healing to talk about my problems and thats why I would also like to help teach others being bullied to understand that they do have a voice and that is OK to STAND UP & SPEAK OUT! Speak out about what is being done to them and Stand up to the one who is doing it.
