Hi Everyone Our family has sponsored a child with Mission Educate for the past 10 years. The reason I love this charity so much is that I know our money does get to the children. I personally know the people who started the charity and the man who now runs it. They put all their money into the school and children. I understand that it is late notice however Terry King has asked me to assist him in filling a table. If you are available this Friday night would and your partner (singles welcome) like to join us at a charity dinner to help raise money for Mission Educate? The Mozambique government has not built a school in Mozambique since 1947. Without these people the children in this region would not have an education. Mission Educate started with nothing just over a decade ago and now educates 1200 children. Some children walk three hours to and from school. On a daily basis children wait at the gates hoping to be let into the school. Their vision is big. As the Dalai Lama said “Education is the key to freeing people from a lifetime of poverty” .They now have a primary school and high school. They have been gifted some land from the government and now want to build a University as well as on-campus accommodation for orphans. The dinner is free however they will be asking for donations at the end of the night. A suggested donation would be the cost of your dinner. There will be no other fundraising on the night.
