Hi Everyone, So here we go, two weeks of school holidays with a long weekend this weekend! The third Pop Up on the Plains is this Friday and will be even more kid-friendly than previous events with jumping castle, face painting, movie corner and a special visit from Elmo. There’s a new group of retailers but back in the first venue, two doors down from us. More event details are on facebook Pop Up on the Plains If you’re out and about this weekend, Lochiel Craft Fair is on daily from 10-6 in the Lochiel Town Hall. Rumour has it that one of the best zucchini tarts ever made will be on sale if you’re lucky enough to get in before they sell out. The specials this week are- • Continental Cucumbers- 99 cents each • Avocadoes- $1.59 each • Bellita Potatoes, 2kg bag- $1.99 each • Blueberries- $4.49 punnet • Strawberries –$3.59 each OR 2 FOR $6.00 And in the Nutritional Harmony lines: • Planet Organic Teas- $3.99 each FYI: We’re a little reluctant to buy in grapes while they’re not premium quality so it will depend on what’s available in the market as to whether or not we have any over the next few weeks. No stone fruit yet. Did you know: our Planet Organic Tea range includes English Breakfast, Rooibos, Jasmine Green, Chai Spice, Lapsang Souchong, Darjeeling, Dandelion Leaf and Licorice. All these are organic but not the full extent of the range available. Ask us if you would like a different flavour to be stocked. It is so easy to put in an order and have your fruit and veg delivered! A Price list and order forms are attached to our email. You can use this to place an order by phone or fax or email, for pick up or delivery- however we can help you! Delivery for retail customers is available to your home or workplace- Balaklava on any shop day, Owen on Thursdays and then Port Wakefield is available on Mondays and Fridays, Lochiel on Friday. If you would like delivery in the surrounding areas let us know and we will see if we can swing by when in the area! Facebookers can use a word document if you like. You can fax, phone, email or drop off an order but if you do email, please give us a quick call if it is needed on the same day and you haven’t received a confirmation email so we know to go online. The night before you want an order is usually fine though.
