Hi Everyone, This morning we arrived in Apia which is part of American Samoa. The locals welcomed us by singing and dancing on the pier side all dressed in their native dress. The music was wonderful and we felt overwhelmed by their friendliness. We stepped outside and the heat was tremendous. We enjoyed breakfast in the buffet with all the lovely fresh fruit. There was a local market on the pier so we went ashore for a browse. Didnt do a tour as we have been here many times so took advantage of my office in the air conditioning. Trivia this afternoon was a lot of fun. We at least have the team name announced now as we have qualified. We came second again today, better luck tomorrow. The show tonight was Simply Broadway and performed by the four singers from the Entertainment team. They were wonderful and sang many well known songs. The Indonesia Crew Show was on at 11pm and as our waiters were performing we had to see it. It was hilarious as those waiters, galley staff and cabin stewards put on a great show. The final act was a Bamboo Angklung Orchestra and they invited passengers up on stage. The boys got Nev up to play and he had a lot of fun. I took some video to share with you. The clocks go back an hour tonight. Another busy day tomorrow with lectures.
