Hi Everyone, Today is day 33. We are almost done with 2 Chronicles. Our God is the God of second chances. He is so patient with us. I see the obedience leads to blessings and pride is a sure way to bring on the fall. There is no such thing as self esteem in the bible. They are all pride and they are bad....they all lead them to bad ends. Sometimes simple concept that we think we know has to be really sink in and I think this is one challenge I have this time around 90 days and I am challenged with my pride=sin=fall. I mean, isnt this the basic concept of sin? Why am I still surprised?! The world teaches us pride is a virtue. God says it is sin. Do I trust God or do I true the world? The answer is very clear. Father God, Good news of Jesus calls us to humble ourselves. I can not do anything to be worthy to be saved. You have made sure we have nothing to boast in our salvation. How holy you are shows us how unholy we really are. Lord, knowing you and realizing how glorious you are makes us realize by caparison how insignificant we are. Yet, you know us by name. You gave your only begotten son to die for our sins so we may know you. How could this be? You are an amazing God. May you be glorified on this earth as it is in heaven. You alone are worthy of our praise and worship. Please continue to point out to us if we worship something other then you. Show us what they are and show us what we need to do to stop worshiping/remove/destroy them from our lives. We want to obey you and show our love for you in our obedience.
