Hi Everyone. WOW! Looking back to that night 4 weeks ago and being told by the doctors that they weren’t sure they could do anything for Terry to walking 4 blocks with him today….I now believe that ANYTHING is possible! Terry’s determination and strength are awe inspiring. I love that his sense of humor is intact….that silly smirk or goofy grin just melt my heart all over again! It should come as no surprise that he has won the hearts of everyone here….doctors, nurses, therapists….ALL OF THEM. I hear more than once a day that he is their favorite. BIG NEWS!!! We don’t have a concrete date yet, but it looks like our man will be coming home soon! Insurance says one thing, but the doctors are requesting a tad more time….I just think that they don’t want him to leave…..but that is fine with me because he makes visible progress daily! So keep your ears open and I’ll let everyone know as soon as our date is set in stone. Thanks Joan Smith and Ron Smith for dropping by today! It was wonderful to see you both!!! Veronica Wittscheck…your mom dutifully delivered your hug! Thanks, I needed that! Terry also enjoyed mail call today…..the notes from all our friends at Florence-Lauderdale Public Library were a big hit, as well as the cards from the James E Clatterbaugh and Marian and the Anne Annie Shady and Ron. Hope everyone is ready for a fabulous weekend! I’m headed home tomorrow morning to grab the babies and hot foot it back to Birmingham for our zany family time. Much Love! Anita
