Hi Everyone! Wishing all our family and friends a super terrific Fourth of July. A nice long weekend to relax, finally. Last weekend in the heat of Houston over 100 Doug and I moved our belongs to our new garage apt. We love it. No yard to mow or weeds to pick. The garage apt is on the water and in beautiful Nassau Bay, we can walk to church. The best thing about the apt. is that we could bring the BUD. As the saying goes, have dog will travel. The sixteen pound pompoo travels light just his bowls and leash. As long as he is with the mother, he is fine. Another wonderful item about this apartment is that we do not have a lease and go month-to-month. The rent is only $900 a month which includes electricity, water and cable. Our house has been sold and it is sad. lots of memories. However, it is nice not to have a mortgage and other bills. We are living the life of empty nesters and might be leaving this week for Michigan. Love The Thiedes
