Hi Everyone, heard the news about the Greens and Labour coming to the party on the highs and animal testing. Below is an email I have sent to Greens, Labour and those involved. A loophole which needs to be addressed if the National Gvt intend going ahead with this! This is in response to "drug dealers" having to present certificates as to the safety of their "products" which they will have to do. Good evening everyone, Kena, can you please pass this onto Mojo. Have already emailed Trevor Mallard. We are at an interesting point now having heard the news on radio and television. One very important point I would like to give is this: IF the National Government intends to proceed with the introduction of "highs" onto the market and they have to be tested, then this testing, not on animals, has to be done in New Zealand and New Zealand alone, at a registered laboratory. Our organisation having United Nations Status has worked for many years not only for people but animals globally so we do know what we are talking about. We are totally aware of the corruption unfortunately which occurs in India and China. It would be so simple for a "drug dealer" to have their products tested in these countries and certificates issued showing they were not tested on animals when in fact they were so.... Only wanting to close any loopholes before the event. Please take this on board.
