Hi Everyone, just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your outstanding support. Every time we respond to a fire in this area the community rallies to help each other out and its a great thing to see! I wanted to suggest, to those of you who do such a great job of helping in times of disaster, the possibility of volunteering with the local Red Cross. We conduct orientations regularly, and would love to have more volunteers ready and trained for when the next disaster happens. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions, or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Cayce (contact info inside the link). Additionally, if you or someone you know has lost a home due to the ongoing fire, make sure they contact the local Red Cross, either by visiting the current shelter at the Yosemite Lakes Church or by calling our office at (559)455-1000.
