Hi Everyone – Individual thank you notes are forthcoming, but I want to thank you all en masse for what you helped us to achieve. The silent auction raised $11,000 on Saturday night. To create some perspective, that’s more than twice what it raised last year ($5,000) and $,1000 over our stated goal, which was “lofty,” I understand, by most people’s expectations. More importantly, we made some awesome new friends and solidified our relationships with some old friends of AFFA. I have added the final list of our 82 (!) sponsors below to show you what I mean. You all made a very special contribution to the evening’s success. The silent auction contributed to the success of a beautiful event, which also doubled in revenues ($60,000) and attendance (300+), filling the Memminger Auditorium to capacity.
