Hi FAMILY & FRIENDS, I had my assessment with the cardiac surgeon yesterday. He said I definitely NEED HEART SURGERY. Open heart surgery is what he wants to do. I will be in intensive care for about 7 days and then rehab hospital for about 14 days...total 3 weeks. Now it is a waiting game. I have to have doctor and dental check ups first and have any issues dealt with before surgery. They will be calling me with my surgery date. They are into the end of Feb. and March now. I am nervous but he gives me a better chance of survival having the surgery than if I dont. I will keep you informed. I may not be on much but will try. Thank you again for the best wishes. Diane
