Hi Facebook Friends – At the end of this month (September 27-29, 2013), Community Access will be offering equine assisted learning activities during the 2nd Annual Gold Star Family Retreat at Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV. This event is hosted by the WV National Guard and WV Department of Veterans Assistance and honors our Fallen Service Members and their Families. We offered equine assisted learning activities at last year’s event, and it was a great success. However we recently learned that we did not receive the grant funding for which we applied to underwrite the costs of this year’s project. I am therefore shamelessly making this request for donations on Facebook! Community Access is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization, so any contributions made (besides being for a great cause) are tax deductible. Please consider sending Community Access a donation to help fund this event! Checks should be made payable to Community Access and mailed to PO Box 8885, South Charleston, WV 25303 (write Gold Star Event on the check memo).
