Hi Facebook pals and family! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! A lot has happened this week, and now that I have some time would like to update everyone and thank many. 😕 On Monday my dad slipped off his chair, thank god I was off work that day, and found him. I was able to reach my brother Brian in time, and with the help of Bruce Eccher, (thank you Bruce), we were able to get him back in his chair. He was taken to Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. Unfortunately, many health issues were found, particularly involving his heart. Tuesday, he was transported to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, in which he had surgery to have a Pace Maker put in. He is doing very good regarding that, but will have a long road ahead of him for other issues, and a lot of physical and occupational therapy. At this time, he is being transported back to Spanish Peaks to be treated for other issues, including the therapy for such extended or permanent care. 😢 I would like to thank the Huerfano County Ambulance Department, the Walsenburg Police Department, and the staff at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. A huge thank you to Sherry Gonzales Gomez for all her professional and personal help and care for myself and family. We so appreciate all your help Sherry. My special friends that were there for me for support, including special friends from Colorado Springs. Please keep my dad in your prayers as he does need it. He will be celebrating his 91st birthday on Monday, November 3rd in the hospital. 😢 Hes a trooper for sure, but one day at a time now. Thanks everyone! Have a safe Halloween!!! Much love! 💖 Shelley
