Hi Family, last week I introduced the 10 types of revival. The prevailing evangelical model has been addressed. Today, I talk to you about how prophets revive. Last week I made a difference between revival and evangelism. The prophet stresses Gods kingdom and its citizens. The evangelist targets the world and its lost. Keep this in mind as I cover this subject. The prophet can evangelize but ultimately gives way to correction or reward. Those that come to prophets may be lead to the Lord, but differently because the mantle in action is communicative and predictive. Prophets desire people to be saved but are more inclined to probe their lives for the reasons they are not. This mantle is not likely to resort to just sharing testimonies, or grabbing peoples hands to lead them through the sinners prayer. They reveal, expose, confront and predict. The prophet sees the world through Gods archival lens and unseals peoples lives more than they douse them with fiery preaching. Prophetic revival takes a laser-like approach. The prophet zeroes in on the obstacles barricading a life from the Lord and tackles them head on through sermons and prophesying. Not every one responds to this approach, but those ordained to Gods revelatory steams or eventual high leadership will only come to Him this way. Independent thinkers are not impressed with sharing stories. They want answers, rational answers. These people need the wisdom of salvation along with its witness. Prophets pragmatism gives them both. The Gospel from a prophet is most than preached. The one that masters its message, intelligently disseminates it as Gods whole counsel. More on this tomorrow.
