Hi! First time posting in this group, I wanted to share two projects I finished recently. I altered these two blouses that I thrifted. Before is on the left, after on the right. The top one caught my eye because of the heart-shaped embroidery on the collar. The collar was pointed, so I removed it and added lace. I also added lace to the cuffs and replaced the dated black buttons with red hearts. The bottom blouse is cotton voile. The cuffs were very plain and there was a hole in one that I didnt notice until I wore it for the first time. I took the plain cuffs and the damage off and made longer, frilly cuffs to match the top. All together, the total cost for both blouses was about $10-$15, the embroidered organza lace being the most expensive. I wish I could have found better, softer lace, but the color of the blouse is off-white and everything looked too beige or too bright. Both will be worn under JSKs because of the loose shape, although I may add darts to the heart blouse.
