Hi Folks! On this cold, snowy & blustery day, its hard to imagine how close the show season is - it will be here before we know it! I wanted to let you know that the AMHR approved Showbill for our 2014 AMHR BWMHC Jubilee Show in Midland, MI is now on our website! Near the top of our home page there is a link for you to click & open (and print) the Showbill, entry forms & all the info you will need. Weve ordered beautiful weather for that weekend & are looking forward to a wonderful show! In case you havent been to this show before, its a well established show that the club has been putting on for many years. We show in the beautiful main arena which is huge & has excellent footing for driving. There also is a very large seating area with no bad seat in the house. The stalls are located right across from the arena which make getting to multiple classes a breeze. There are clean restrooms conveniently located & very nice shower facilities if you choose to camp. There are many hotels, restaurants & plenty of shopping in the area also. On Saturday evening our club provides a delicious potluck dinner to our exhibitors & their families. If you can bring a dish or snack to pass that would be great! Our meal usually coincides with the Liberty classes, and weve added a Chariot class that evening too. So enjoy some great entertainment during your meal! We will once again be giving out the beautiful neck ribbons in our Championship classes, and we give out first place trophies in all of our youth classes - the kids really love them! Do you have a spouse who isnt that much into horses, but will be coming with you? If so, the Michigan Antique & Collectibles Festival will be going on the same weekend at the Midland Fairgrounds as our show. So if your spouse, friends or family need a break they can walk right over to the festival and check out lots of unique shopping & a variety of foods available for purchase. Ive included a link to their website if youd like more info. We also have our BWMHC Tack & Vendor Sale coming up on April 5th in Ray, MI and our FREE Miniature Horse Expo on May 3rd, in Imlay City, MI. We also put on 3 club shows in the summer where your miniature doesnt even need to be registered. Our club shows are a great place to start out & learn if you are new to showing.
