Hi Friends, Alot of people have been inquiring how Im doing after my inner ear surgery. Im doing pretty good. Wasnt expecting it to be quite as painful as it is, but for the most part Im hanging in there. A lot of equilibrium issues but it is getting better, and they told me to expect that. Ive never experienced the extent of the whole room seeming to turn upside down, its nothing like just being a little lightheaded and it kind of surprised me. Im hearing lots of different noises in my hand and its very strange. The ear is packed with cotton so not able to actually hear out of it all the noises are coming from inside. Taking it very easy and virtually doing nothing but resting which is what the Dr wanted. Dont feel like doing much, get dizzy and nauseous when Im up for very long. All in all guess Im on track according to the directions they sent home with me. Keep your fingers crossed. God bless.
