Hi Friends & Family of Rod Halloran Australian Artist! Im Rods eldest daughter Heather, was in communication with Dad today and he is ok after the recent storms in NSW, just to let everyone know. Also, I found some photos of him painting and some works for you to see and enjoy, I believe its from a CD back up I found today. Gives a wonderful insight to a Real artist! Some of the photos are of locations He has traveled to around Australian countryside to capture images to paint. At times he puts photos of different locations together, like a creek from over there next to a tree and shed from other there and the synergy just works. He makes it look like the same place, but in reality he has created it! There are some images of students he is teaching which just shows how the strength of his influence, teaching and ability to pass on his knowledge and skills! Ive also included some fun shots of him happy spear fishing or fishing with Bear (who sadly passed a few years ago). These photos are from around 2009, so a few years old, Im hoping to see dad again soon to get some more from him. In the meantime, enjoy the what you see, the process of getting images to paint the art he does is a therapy from start to finish for him. Art has literally saved his life.
