Hi Friends! Had a great stay in Bali. Got the hotel upgraded to suite room for free. The Haven Seminyak is fantastic. Stretching way to the back through a cobbled-wall pathway, three trendy pools with beautiful people lounging absorbing sun rays. Will I come back? Yes, definitely! They have jembe percussion lesson every Sunday. So, that would be an interesting thing to learn. Yesterday I joined the Jari Menari massage class. I was the only Indonesian in the class. The rest were dancers from Paris, a Mayo Clinic Therapist from Melbourne and a Japanese kid. The girls, they were beautiful. Fernanda and Camille. They were both a bit shy. So, women is still women, mau mereka bule tetap aja perempuan. Camille gave me a massage and it was terrible. She was thin and weak, I couldn’t feel a thing. I can’t believe she is a professional dancer. And when it was my turn, I was terrified that I would break her bone or something, so frail. In the end of the massage she told me I was not firm enough. Ouch. Joining a class, doing activities, is fantastic. I have been postponing travelling alone waiting for the right partner, a girlfriend maybe. But now, I feel more confident that flying solo is also okay, ha! Lesson learned: no need to wait for a certain condition before doing something that you want. Just do it. Live what you love.. :)
