Hi Friends. I often receive prayer requests for healing. I thought I would share a couple of insights. An illness usually has one of two roots: medical or demonic. The illness is either caused by a medical condition or injury or the root of it is a spirit. Jesus faced both circumstances in His ministry. The woman in Lk. 13 and the man in Lk. 11 had a illness that had a demonic root. There were several other recordings of people healed w/o any reference to demons. If you put someone on a prayer chain and ask for healing and the persons illness is demonic, they will probably not be healed. If you put someone on a prayer chain to be delivered from demons and the condition is only a medical condition they will probably will not be healed. For example, cancer. We have had 3 people healed of cancer in the last week at the House of Healing and all 3 cases were demonic. Most Christians with cancer die because everyone assumed it a medical condition and they pray for healing, when the person actually needed deliverance. In your ministry you will see increased results in healing if you diagnosis it properly. Is the illness a medical root that needs healing or is it a demonic root that needs deliverance? Just like Jesus taught us. Children are the same. Some congenital disabilities are medical and some are demonic. The boy Jesus healed in Mark 9 was demonic. He said this kind comes out only by prayer and fasting. The greek word for kind is genea which means generational. A spirit can enter a family tree thru sin and move down the tree causing other illnesses or addictions. In some cases a spirit can attack a child in the womb. Bro. Mike hardcorechristianity.
