Good luck 15 DAYS TOUR TANZANIA PACKAGE Mt Kilimanjaro/Machame Route & 5 days camping Safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti,Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. This 13 days program combines a climb of majestic Kilimanjaro on the scenic Machame Route in 7 days which is a bit sportive with some safari highlights of the Northern Circuit. Day 01 ARRIVAL You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by your Driver and our representative. We will take you to the lodge this charming Lodge is situated in the city centre of Arusha. Day-02 Rest, acclimatization day and Kilimanjaro briefing including checking mountain gears Day-03 Arusha - Machame Gate - Machame Camp. Approx driving time 1, 5 hours After breakfast well transfer you to the Machame Park Gate (1,790 m.). After registering with the park authority, well begin our climb through the lush forest. Trekkers will likely hear the many exotic birds in the canopy above, and many even see black & white colobus monkeys and sykes monkeys as they hike along the knotted roots Well continue on to some heath land before reaching our overnight camp at Machame Camp (2990m, 5-7 hours of walking), just above the forest zone. The trek is quite long, thus not steep. All meals included Day-04 Machame Camp to Shira Camp. Todays segment of the ascent will continue across beautiful heath land and afro-alpine moorland with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro Peak. We begin up the steep track through a savannah of tall grasses, and trees of Giant Heather and Erica. Scramble around large boulders as you enter the moorland zone, marked by lobelia and senecia plants, and volcanic rocks draped with lichen beards, which protect wild alpine flowers growing at their bases. Well overnight at Shira Camp (3800m, 4-5 hours of walking). All meals included Day-05 Shira Camp to Barranco Camp Well draw nearer the peak as we get closer to the Lava Tower. The trek becomes a bit more strenuous as the trail steepens on the approach to the lava Tower, a 300 foot tall volcanic plug which marks an exposed pass at 4545m. In the afternoon, descend the steep track into the Great Barranco Valley. Barranco Camp is set on a col (flat area) enclosed on three sides with steep valley walls and the Kibo massif itself. Hanging glaciers glint in the sunshine above, amidst the landscape of plants such as the giant groundsels (Senecio Kilimanjari), and the uniquely endemic Giant Lobelia. Then we slowly ascent to our overnight stop at Barranco Camp (3900m, 5-6 hours of walking). All meals included Day-06 Barranco camp to Karanga valley Today you have a short walk of 3 hrs. Just-like acclimatization day and on arrival at the camp (3950m.) you relax and have a little walk in the higher altitude. Dinner and overnight at Karanga valley camp. Day-07 Karanga valley Camp to Barafu Camp The day will begin with a descent into the Gorge, before we climb its eastern wall where we will enjoy views of Kilimanjaros ice fields, an equatorial anomaly. We will continue trekking following the lava ridge to the Barafu camp. The temperature will grow colder and the landscape more sparse as we near Barafu Camp. Barafu Camp is set on a small, exposed flat area on a ridge, acting as a base camp from which you will make your summit attempt at midnight tonight. Barafu camp (4600m, 6-7 hours of walking). All meals included Day-08 Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp Just after midnight we start of a challenging trek (12-17 hours of trekking). You begin trekking at 12:00 to 1am, passing between the Rebmann and Tarzel glaciers to the rim at Stella Point. The temperatures range from just below freezing at midnight, to between 10 deg. F (-12 deg. C) to –10 F. (-23 deg. C) just before dawn at the summit. As dawn nears, well summit at Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5895m. Uhuru will be the culmination of - and the reward for - 6-7 hours of strenuous hiking. Well then descend back to Barafu Camp, resting for a while before continuing our descent to Mweka Camp (3062m 3-4 hours of walking on the descent). All meals included Day-09 Mweka Camp to Park Gate – Arusha We’ll make our final descent to the park gate, a walk of about 2 to 3 hours. After bidding our farewells to our guide and porters, well take you to Arusha for overnight at Outpost lodge. Breakfast and dinner included Day-10 Arusha to Lake Manyara After breakfast we depart for to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and tree climbing lion alongside with many different birds’ species. Overnight at.Twiga Campsite. All meals included Day- 11 Lake Manyara to Serengeti You will have breakfast at the campsite before you embark on game drive to Serengeti Park. On the way, expect to spot a variety of wildness including Zebras, wildebeest, Elephants, Jackals, lions, cheetah and more others alongside different species of birds. Also the Migration, consisting of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year round. Depending on the season you may see these impressive phenomena. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite Day-12 Full game drive in Serengeti Enjoy a fully day Serengeti tour, picnic lunch inside the park, In the Serengeti; with a bit of luck there is a possibility to see the migration of wildebeest and zebras accompanied by predators. Nevertheless you may spot a pride of lion on hunt and many other species of birds including the Kori bustard famed as the heaviest flying bird in the world also troops of baboons can be spotted on move. Dinner and overnight at campsite Day-13 Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater After breakfast you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After arrival you will decent into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Overnight at Fanaka campsite. All meals included. Day- 14 Tarangire to Arusha After early morning breakfast you drive to Tarangire national park for game drive with picnic lunches. In Tarangire you expect to see substantial herds of Elephants gathering alongside the river along with many others species of animals eg wildebeest, Lions, Buffaloes, Zebras and prolific birds. After game drive return back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
