Hi Friends and Family, Just to let you all know that I have chosen the charity for the fundraiser that LIGSPC (Long Island German Shorthaired Pointer Club) Specialty Dog Show on Sept 29th is holding in my honor and that 50% of all profits from the show will go to the charity and here it is: The Healing Consciousness Foundation.... a registered 501c3 NPO... 98 cents of each dollar goes directly to patient / family support. This charity is special as it supports the patient and family together to support healing in every way possible. The charity provides treatment with Eastern and Western Medicine, which many times is not covered by insurance. The Healing Consciousness Foundation (HCF), a non-profit organization, was founded by nationally recognized breast cancer surgeon (and my doctor), Dr. Beth Baughman DuPree in 2007 after the publication of the first edition of her bestseller, The Healing Consciousness: A Doctor’s Journey to Healing. Dr. DuPree believes that conventional Western medicine integrated with Eastern modalities helps one achieve the balance they need to begin the healing process. Dr. Dupree has generously donated copies of her book and pendant jewelry as prizes. Please come out if you can!
