About us: MyKolar is a NGO which has started by a group of Engineers with an aim to serve Kolar district in various fields to make it a better place. Mykolar has started its journey by conducting free computer awareness & Training programs for students in Government schools to fill the gap between Private and Government school in the field of education. MyKolar is also training Govt school teachers about computer basics . A month ago we started Free spoken English classes for the residents of kolar for minimum age group 12 years or more Till now MyKolar was concentrating on educational field and and now its forwarding its hands towards nature by planting trees as hundreds of trees were cut during NH4 road expansion . Go Green!! Reason behind starting MyKolar: On ear with people around Kolar, many problems were encountered and no one had any answers resolve the problems. So we decided to revolutionize Kolar and make it as a better place, at this point of time MyKolar was born with thoughts to revolutionize the city What are we doing now : 1. Free computer awareness & Training programs (basics of hardware & Software): We have covered 50 schools out of 700+ Govt schools in Kolar district. 2. Free Spoken Englishes are going on in different batches. What we are Going to do: 1. Creating awareness about underground water and rain water harvesting as water is one of the important but missing resource in Kolar 2. Self employable training like Tailoring, Mobile repairs, computer hardware training etc 3. Creating awareness about Human Rights. 4. Help Farmers to know the schemes available from Govt for farming. 5. Conducting Events like Drawing, Quiz and indoor games to bring out the hidden talents from students 6. Conducting blood donation camps in colleges. 7. Help Old , Orphans & Differently able people with basic needs. List keeps Growing!! Please join us in joining Kolar! Lets be the change.
