Hi Gilbert, Long time no speak. I can see you are very very busy standing up for the rights of Singaporean especially the unemployed. Hats off to you. I must say you have my utmost respect for what you are doing and proven that you are standing firm for what you believed. Thank you. The reason I am writing to you is that my brother in law is looking for some staff to assist him to operate his intended convenience store. He was also retrenched from a bank in Dec 2013 – in Singapore the job market is hopeless with so many foreigners taking our jobs, the PAP government is even worst than hopeless and they are the cause of this misery. He is putting whatever financial resources available into this business, not knowing if it can be successful or not. Well at least he is not the type who sit down and grumble about things gone wrong, but he proactively try to help himself out of the situation and in the course of it, hopefully helps some other Singaporeans along the way. My brother in law is also taking a big risk as he never had any business experience at all. He is not rich but just an average employee. He has been a employee all his life, now at 50 he is retrenched. He got 2 school going kids, house mortgages and other financial responsibilities too. Having said that, this is only the initial start , I am very sure that if the business picks up or grows, the employee/s will grow with him as there may be an opportunity to grow to 2-3 or 4 stores. Then whoever supports his growth , will grow together. He is not looking for someone younger and looking for a career ahead, he cannot afford those people. He is looking at those perhaps 55-65 years old and looking for a simple job that can pay the some bills and food. So we have to look after ourselves, they only plunder our money (CPF) and make our life more miserable (FT influx). Anyway, my brother in law (Kenneth) is looking for matured, responsible person who are not afraid of hard work and wish to make a decent income. Type of employment : Permanent part time Time frame : To commence June or July 2014 Location of work : Pasir Panjang Business hours : 0500 am – 2100 hrs (flexible number of hours can be negotiable and agreed with employer ) Pay per hour basic: Between $7 – $8.00 per hour. Transport & Lunch provided if work from 0500 am onwards. Work responsibilities : Cashier, packing the store, plan & replenish stock. Pls contact : Kenneth email: [email protected] See if in your list of people, anyone fits the bill for the above. We Singaporean help Singaporean. Anyway thanks alot. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.
