After finishing Medical School he delved into RESEARCH basically to find a cure for POLIO. After 4 years of continuous work in 1952, he developed a VACCINE FOR POLIO BUT INSTEAD of PATENTING the VACCINE, he chose to make it available for FREE( so that everybody could has access to it)........................... because his real passion was to HELP PEOPLE !
