Hi Guys, Here are some details for PokerSoc Night 3, at the bottom of this post is what table you will be playing (£1 tables have been randomized to make it fair). 1) WHERE AND WHEN - We are playing in B200 (see attached map for more info) on College Lane at 7pm until whenever your table finishes on Tuesday 21st. Although we start at 7pm, please try to get there for 6:45 as it means we can get people in and settled as quickly as possible. Cards will be dealt at 7:15 no matter how many people have shown up, this is to make it fair on the people who showed up on time. 2) BUY-IN - You need to bring your buy-in to the night with you! If you dont have a buy-in, you will NOT be playing. It seems harsh but if everybody shows up without buy-ins, the winner walks with nothing which isnt fair at all. Your buy- ins are as follows: Table 2 - £1 Table 3 - £5 Table 1 (with dealer) - £1 Winner takes all, Sit-N-Go format 3) IF YOU CANT MAKE IT - You have until 24 hours before the night to cancel your seat so that someone else can take it. Just post in the long thread that you can no longer make it so I can find someone to replace you. If you dont show up at all on the night without cancelling, you will have a mark next to your name. If you get 2 marks next to your name, you wont be able to book a seat for 3 weeks (you can still show up and hope someone else doesnt show up but you cant book for yourself). This is just because you took away a seat from someone else and another buy-in from the winner of that week 4) LEAGUE POINTS - There is a league within the society, in which the top 10 at the end of the semester play each other for a prize pool (Will probably be a £10 buy-in and some extra prize money on top so around £150). The way this works is that you need to write down on the paper provided who came where on each table and you will be given points depending on that. This is so there is always something to play for, so dont give up if you dont think you will cash that week! 10th place will get 1 point 1st will get 10 points I am sure you can figure out our super complex system. 5) RULES & PROBLEMS - If you have any issues with anything that is happening on the night (someone is being an ass, a rule is being disputed, you are unsure on something) please raise your hand and call out for either myself, Robbie Campbell, Troy Stensel or Tom Eales so we can get you sorted as quickly as possible.
