Hi, Guys I am working on organising all fitness clubs and Fitness Instructors in Southern Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Ghana) under one international association to develop the fitness clubs, fitness instructors/ trainers in Africa. We wanted to create a membership category for African fitness clubs, trainers and instructors outside the continent; so that they can share their expertise and experiences with fellow Africans on the continent. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! - Noah NB: Europe has the European Health and Fitness Association. The USA has American Health and Fitness Alliance. It’s about time we get organised as Africans. Because the majority of associations and general membership is in South Africa, we are currently updated our constitution (articles of association) into a Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI) so as to comply with South Africa’s New Companies Act 71 of 2008. The Association’s status will change from a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and will become a Non Profit Company (NPC). Higher management and governance standards will be required from us as an NPC. Hence the needed to finalise our membership structure as soon as possible. We want to complete this process by 30 January 2015. This will require any interested fitness professional get in touch by end of November 2014.
