Hi Guys, This one doesnt relate to me so much as my Dad. No one does what they do to receive recognition, but if recognition is to come come my way, I can only graciously accept Personally, I want to acknowledge, specifically in relation to the recognition and success of the time that Dad was CEO at Adventist Aviation Services, particularly in the last decade - The only reason that AAS is the success that it is and has achieved what it has, is because of the tireless commitment and dedication of the many various team members, and their families from all over the world, including PNG, that have, and continue to serve at AAS as it reaches out to the service of those in the remote, largely forgotten, under serviced areas of PNG. See email below - It has been officially announced tonight (Sunday 8th June) from the Governor General of Australia that Roger Millist is recognised with an Order of Australia Medal as part of the Australian Honours System. https://gg.gov.au/sites/default/files/files/honours/qb/qb2014/Media%20Notes%20-%20OAM%20(M-R).pdf Pastor Roger Stanley MILLIST, NT For service to international relations through a range of aviation and church roles in Papua New Guinea.
