Hi Guys, just want to give you all a decent amount of notice, if you would like to make sure that any of the images or food reviews that you have posted on these pages are saved can you please back them up this week. Im not 100% but Ill be looking to take this group off line. Its been an absolute blast and I have really enjoyed it. But over the past couple of months a few incidents have occurred that I believe have effected the group. People giving myself and Dave stick is fine the last thing in the world Im ever going to lose sleep over is a few idiots on a copy group. However recently people have been trading off the back of the BC. Using it to sell advertising. We started this group as a platform to share information, never intending to make any form of commercial profit from it. But when people start leveling the accusations that this group is ruining their business or that we are in with XYZ restaurant then that for me puts the ethos of the group in question. Perhaps when we launched these pages we never really expected to get the numbers or traffic to the site. I certainly think we have done alot of good for many places, and Id like to take time out to thank all of the restaurants that have supported our group over the past 2 and a half years. Id also like to say a personal thanks to Martin Pattaya who has been a absolute rock with relation to help moderating these pages. We may not always agree on everything but I really appreciate the hours and hours you have spent helping us out with the page. And lastly Id like to thank all of those of you that have taken time out before eating to take a picture and say a few words about it. I always enjoyed being in a restaurant watching people snapping away and wondering if they were reviewing these pages. Cheers.
