Hi Guys, look I really dont want to be annoying everyone but 2 seconds please would be appreciated. About 6 weeks ago a dear friend of mine from back home who I have known since P1 lost her Mum to Pancreatic Cancer. She has been doing some amazing work since her mums diagnosis in order to raise funds and awareness of the disease as statistics reveal that the five year UK survival rate is less than 4% and, alarmingly, rates have not changed in over 40 years! Even more alarmingly is the fact that pancreatic cancer only receives 1% of cancer research spend per year, even though it’s the 5th biggest cause of cancer deaths! Her and her family have been helping promote a petition to force a parlimentary debate in to raising awareness and funding for this particular kind of cancer.
