Hi, I believe spotting a bushfire at early stage would be crucial to fire fighting success. However, keeping an eye for firing on thousands or million of forest ha could be a very hard challenge. I cannot find in your website how you apply hi-tech to answer this challenge but let me share my little knowledge about this. In Vietnam war, US army spread many little (disguised) electronic sensor equipment in large areas of the highland forest to detect human living and soldier movement of North Vietnam army. These sensors can send signal back to the US military base with location information for consequent bombing actions to destroy enemy soldiers. The technology must advance very much further in last 40 years to help us to apply a similar solution effectively for bushfire detection purpose at early stage. Appreciate if you can share your studies and advances in this aspect. Cheers.
