Hi! I just wanted to say how interesting I find this page. I moved to Lee on the solent just over 4 yrs ago from Surrey. I loved the history there specially living near Hampton course palace and even having a road named after my great great uncle who had set up the first coach company in our area with a horse and cart :) Gosport and surrounding areas are steeped in history and its great hearing local peoples experiences and learning about history that is not so well known.
