Hi, I was in Nanjing in February finalizing the adoption of our daughter who spent almost all her life to that point in the orphanage in Changzhou. Her parents placed her at a bus stop in Nandu (near Liyang) due to the fact that she was very very sick and they probably realized that if they did not do this she would have died. She was found very jaundice with near fatal bile levels and with IV marks in the back of her hands and head (showing that they had tried to get care). Their selfless decision is why she is alive today and I feel an overwhelming responsibility to try and find them. It is pretty difficult but not entirely impossible. If I found them I would simply want to let them know that she is alive and getting the care she needs and if both they and our daughter once she was older wanted contact then by looking so early on we have a better chance. Nandu is a town of 68,000 people (some of whom are migrant workers which might make it difficult to find her birth parents if they are migrant workers). Liyang is the closest city (one million people) and is a half hour away. Does anyone here know anyone in Nandu or Liyang who might be able to help me? I know both places are about an hour and a half to two hours from Changzhou, but Liyang does not have a expat page. I have hired a professional finder who will be placing posters in the area mid May. The finder team is from Guangzhou, so I am trying to find anyone local to aide in the search. Attached a picture of the poster, a picture of my daughter and I in China finalizing the adoption, and a picture of her here now at home with her brothers. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!!!!!
