Ottawa Networking Social Out in the Capital Out in the Capital is a networking event that combines students, professionals and representatives of pro-LGBTQA organizations. This event will serve as the first of a semi-annual or annual event, allowing students and local employers to truly connect and lead to an ever-growing LGBTQA professional network in Ottawa. Organizations can get their name out among the local professionals of tomorrow as well as connecting with potential recruits and future colleagues. Students will have the opportunity to truly get to know the organizations present and gain invaluable insights from the experiences of the professionals present at the event. The event will provide for informal networking opportunities, but also some of the professional development and learning opportunities that one would typically find at a speaker event.
