Hi, Im Rowena Christmas, a full time GP from Trellech near Monmouth. Married for (gulp) 16 years with two fabulous boys aged 8 & 10. I feel I have the best job in the world & wouldnt change my life with anyone, which feels like a good place to be at 42. I read books & listen to as many audiobooks as I run marathons (slowly) - the training gives me peace & lots of time to listen. Favourite authors; so many. Kate Atkinson, Craig Lancaster, Khaled Hosseini, Lisa ODonnell Sarah Moss have all been good recently. Best book ever - The Bone People by Keri Hulme or The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. I recently read my first Hemingway & with apologies hated every moment. The bullfighting didnt help. Im looking forward to getting to know you all better.
