Hi, Im doing a study for musicians and I hope to publish the results for everyone as soon as I can. I would appreciate your help by posting your thoughts here and sharing it so that others might also contribute. First thing I would like to ask: As a working class musician, what are the biggest problems that you face in your music career? Is it in the areas of management, merchandise, touring, online? Or maybe in relationships? (okay that was a joke, but if you think its a serious matter then go ahead and put it there) It would help if you could be specific like, I want to sell t-shirts but I dont know how. or Our vocalist is pretty and single. Which one of us gets to ask her out first? I think it should be me cause Im the bassist. Why am I doing this? No, its not for school. I was in and out of school to be a rock musician (no joke), so I know how hard it is to make a living with your music. We survived by the skin of our teeth thanks to our fabulous good looks and mysterious charisma. So, Im doing this to give back to the industry I grew up in and help by solving problems instead of complaining. I cant do it on my own so I really would like all your input. Thanks in advance and Im looking forward to the results!
