Hi Im fairly new to gardening and just recently had my garden done by a landscaper, they built me a raised bed which I love and Im waiting for them to come back to clean up a bit and give me some ideas for plants. We have a new build property so the previous grass died as there was rubble/soil with lots of weeds, our landscaper said to save waste he was putting in the weeds pulled out into the bottom of the bed and new compost on top would mean the old weeds would mulch down and not grow back. He hasnt been back yet but Ive noticed green grass sprouting up out of the bed, can any experienced gardeners have a look please and let me know if the landscaper gave me wrong information or if they will turn into weeds, I havent asked him yet Im waiting until he returns so any advice would be great :-)
